Seven Great Reasons

3—We charge fees for our professional services. Most IFAs work ‘on-spec’ and receive their remuneration by selling you a product and receiving commission. We think this is unfair because it can lead to cross-subsidy and may motivate the adviser to find a product solution where this may not be suitable for you.  

4—We are small enough to care but big enough to cope. As a family owned and managed business we ensure that we always offer our clients a friendly and professional service. We still consider ourselves to be a small firm, but with the resources and capability of a much larger company.

5—Our opinions are valued in the financial services sector. Our directors have been recognised amongst the most influential IFAs in Britain. The trade press regularly approach us for our views on marketplace developments.  This means that the advice and service you receive will be at the leading edge of the financial services sector.

6—We are in this for the long-term. Rather than just trying to sell you a product and then moving onto the next client, our proposition is built around the provision of ongoing service. We want to see you regularly and ensure that your financial plans are regularly updated.  This means that you will receive regular, ongoing contact and support from your Informed Choice adviser.

7 – We know our limits and only work within them. Each adviser is regularly assessed to establish their scope of professional competence. We work within our team and also external professional advisers to ensure that you always have access to a specialist when required.  This means that you will only receive advice on areas where we have the expertise and professional competence.
