Sandy joined Informed Choice as a consultant in November 2003.  She has been an IFA since 1995 and worked in financial services for 20 years.  Sandy graduated from Exeter University with an honours degree.

Sandy lives in Reigate with her husband John and four grown up children.  John works with Sandy in a business management role.

Sandy is an Associate of the Personal Finance Society (APFS) and an Associate of the Institute of Financial Planning (AIFP).  She is also one of a small number of Certified Financial Planner^CM certificants in the UK.  

Sandy holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate.  She has passed the following AFPC modules - G10 - Taxation and Trusts, G20 - Personal Investment Planning, G60 - Pensions, G80 - Long Term Care, SV1 - Savings and Investments, CF8 - Long Term Care, ER1 - Equity Release.

Her main focus is working with clients with capital to invest (for growth or income) who require not only initial advice but also an ongoing review service.  Sandy is a care fees planning specialist and is registered with Legal Support Services who provide legal and technical support on all aspects of advising older clients.  

Sandy works closely with solicitors and accountants to advise their clients on pensions & divorce, trustee investments and care fees planning.
