Nick
was the previous Chairman of the Society of Financial Advisers
(SOFA). He is an Associate of the Personal Finance Society (APFS)
and an Associate of the Institute of Financial Planning (AIFP) by
examination. In 2006 he graduated from Napier University with
a BA Honours degree in Financial Services.
Nick has been an independent financial adviser since 1989. He has
spent his entire working life in the financial services profession.
Nick holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate - including
the modules G10 (Taxation & Trusts), G20 (Personal Investment
Planning), G30 (Business Financial Planning) and G60 (Pensions).
He has also passed the CF9 Pension Simplification paper.
Nick
is regularly quoted in the national press and he writes for the
trade press, including Money Marketing. He has appeared on
both national television and radio as a financial expert.
