In July 2009 we celebrated our 15th birthday by giving away 15 free Financial Plans worth £1,500 each

Saturday 11th July 2009 was our 15th birthday. To celebrate ran a prize draw on Twitter to give away 15 free Financial Plans worth a total of £22,500. 

We've come a long way in 15 years.  Since our formation in 1994 we have gone from a small business run at a home office to one of the leading firms of Chartered Financial Planners in the UK.

The small but important print

1 - This competition is offered by Informed Choice Ltd, a firm of Chartered Financial Planners who are Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).  The competition is open to UK resident investors only. To enter you must have a Twitter account and be at least 18 years old. Employees of Informed Choice Ltd, their family members and suppliers are not eligible to enter this competition.

2 - This competition begins at 12.01am BST on Saturday 11th July 2009 and will finish at 4.59pm BST on Saturday 25th July 2009. 

3 - Fifteen prizes are available, one each day for the fifteen day duration of this competition. A winner will be selected at random at 5pm BST on each competition day from 11th July 2009 to 25th July 2009 inclusive.  Each winner will be announced on the Informed Choice Twitter account shortly afterwards and a list of winners will be published on this website page.

4 - Each prize is a comprehensive Financial Plan from Informed Choice valued at £1,500.  Visit this page to find out more about this prize.  To receive this prize you will need to disclose certain personal and financial information to an Informed Choice financial planner.  The prize will be delivered in the form of a written report supported by a telephone consultation or face to face meeting at our offices in Surrey.  Prizes are valid for a three month period after the competition closing date.  No cash alternatives are offered.

5 - Competition entry requires you to a) follow @informedchoice on Twitter and b) send out a tweet which includes the #informedchoice tag.  You can post your own message or retweet the competition launch tweet and URL if you prefer.  You do not need to be an existing Informed Choice client to enter.  No purchase is necessary.

6 - You can tweet the #informedchoice tag as many times as you like.  Automated tweets will not be entered. Please consider your followers when tweeting our tag more than once. All tweets containing the #informedchoice tag up to 4.59pm BST on each competition day will be eligible for the prize draw. 

7 - We will select a winner a random from all entries received up to 5pm BST each competition day. The winner each day will be announced on our @informedchoice Twitter account and also posted here.  We will use a computer program to select a random winner each competition day.
